Steven Jack AIISA


Steven Jack has been in the short term insurance industry since 1994, after studying commerce at Wits and playing provincial and international cricket. He trained at the Aegis Insurance Company before turning his hand to broking in 1996 with James, Jackson (Pty) Ltd, after which he joined Glenrand MIB where he was a member of the Corporate Business Development team. Steven was Managing Director of A.W. Jack & Associates from July 2002 until November 2012 when he assumed the role of CEO of Jack & Seach (Pty) Ltd, and has overseen the success of the business since that date.

Vic Field AIISA


Vic started his career with Price Forbes in 1975. In 1981 after completing his ACII he joined JH Minet and was responsible for the acquisition of new business up until 1989, when he joined Willis Faber Enthoven as Managing Director - Business Development. Following a takeover in 1993, he rejoined MIB (formerly Minets) as a director responsible for business development. He remained with the company until joining Jack & Seach in 2009.

Cary Seach


Cary Seach joined the insurance industry in 1990 with MIBSA insurance brokers. After being trained on personal lines, commercial insurance and re-insurance broking he was seconded to Minets in London for a year to as a Lloyds broker to continue his his development. After returning to South Africa in 1994, Cary joined James, Jackson (Pty) Ltd to set up their Durban operation in January 1995. Cary was MD of James, Jackson Insurance Brokers (Pty) Ltd – Natal until 1998 when the Company was sold to Wescol Insurance Brokers. Cary then took the reigns as Regional Manager Natal for Wescol until January 2000 when he was promoted to Managing Director of Wescol Commercial Insurance Brokers in Johannesburg. In 2002 Cary and Justin Seach set up BFS Financial Services (Pty) Ltd and grew the business until 2012 when BFS Financial Services (Pty) Ltd merged with AW Jack & Associates (Pty) Ltd to form Jack & Seach Insurance Brokers.

Justin Seach AIISA


Justin began his insurance career at James, Jackson (Pty) Limited in 1993 in the broking department. He joined Reinsurance Consultants & Intermediaries (Pty) Limited in 1995 as a back-up broker and was then transferred to London to work at the newly formed Reinsurance Consultants International Limited, here he spent two years learning the reinsurance trade and broking into the Lloyd's market. On returning to South Africa in 1997 Justin continued in a reinsurance broking role with Reinsurance Consultants and later became an alternate director. Justin then joined BFS Financial Services (Pty) Limited in 2002 as a shareholder and director.
